Making an Upload
Step 1 – Decide what to upload (See “What to Upload” below). You can take a picture, video or upload a file already on your device
Step 2 – Organize your upload. Our simple one page upload screen allows you to pair your upload so you never lose track of it. (See “Smart Scanner” below)
The Smart Scanner
The Kabinet Smart Scanner scans your uploads and recommends which Room and Category to put your upload in along with tagging it as a Project, Repair or Important Record.
It also reads the amount spent in your upload and will pre-fill this amount.
All of these can be changed on the upload screen if you wish to update your pairings.
What to Upload
Adding these 5 documents will get your Kabinet off to the best start.
• Signed purchase contract
• Home inspection report
• Original mortgage statement (with rate)
• Copy of home deed
• Current homeowners insurance policy
Tip: Start off with these 5 major uploads first. Save the uploads that require Room and Category pairings for later.

Organizing your Kabinet
Your Kabinet has 6 major folders:
• Important Records
Uploads are paired with an appropriate Room & Category then subcategorized as a Project, Repair, or Important Record. If your upload does not fit you can use the Uncategorized folder which does not require pairings.
The Important Records folder also can be used as a standalone. Most uploads should be paired as a Room & Category, but explore Kabinet and customize the system to work for you.
